Nominations are invited for the 5th Annual 2009 Shaping Info Security Awards.

Guidlines on filling the online form (all nominations must be submitted online only):

Types of Nominations:

• Individual Nomination i.e. CTO, CEO, CxO, President, VP or Director level $750.00
• Team Nomination i.e. CTO’s team, Product Management Team, Product Marketing Team, etc. $950.00
• Customer (User of your products) /Partner i.e. your customer who is successfully using your company products or partner that helped deploy the solution successfully (VAR, Distributor, System Integrator, Retailer, etc.) whom you want to show your appreciation $1,250.00

The following information will be required when filling the online form. (Hint: you may prepare the answers in advance and then simply cut-and-paste them in the online form):

SHAPING INFO SECURITY APPLICATION

1. Title - Please give a suitable title to your submission i.e. "Providing customers with peace of mind when e-banking using the Internet"
2. SECTION I - SITUATION/PROBLEM - Explain a situation/problem/challenge/scenario in the past that was a hindrance to security (not less than 200 words)
3. SECTION II – HOW YOU SOLVED THE PROBLEM - Explain in 500 words (please do not exceed 500 words – less is ok – but not less than 300 words) ) what you did to change the situation (example you initiated or developed a proprietary architecture that is much faster than what the competition offers, etc.)
4. SECTION III – CONCLUSION – WHO GAINS WITH YOUR SOLUTION - Please do not mention or hit the competition directly – focus on your positive points only. Explain what kind of targeted end-users are now gaining with your efforts and how they will continue to gain in the coming months/years (not less than 100 words)
