Nominations are invited for the 2009 Executive Leadership in Info Security (ELIS) awards and 2009 Project of Distinction in Info Security (PoDIS) awards.

Who can be nominated? Nominees can be CISO, CIO, CTO, Vice President, Director or Managers from organizations that are using security vendor’s products and services. Only one person from each such organization can be nominated. The nominee cannot be from a security vendor. A nominee must have one or more of the following basic qualifications:

• Must be an executive or part of management team (manager or above),
• Must be involved with implementing and approving security solutions within her or his organization that align with the companies overall business goals,
• Is a mentor to other employees and her/his team members,
• Has shown significant enhancements in information/digital security within the organization in the past 12 – 18 months.

The 2009 EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP IN INFO SECURITY (ELSI) awards honor those key individual leaders who have made a positive impact on her or his organization through security and risk management, protecting and securing digital assets and integrating security solutions that enhance compliance and privacy protection.

2009 PROJECT OF DISTINCTION IN INFO SECURITY (PoDIS) AWARDS:

The 2009 PROJECT OF DISTINCTION IN INFO SECURITY (PoDIS) awards honor those key individual leaders who have made a positive impact on her or his organization through key projects in security and risk management, protecting and securing digital assets and integrating security solutions that enhance compliance and privacy protection.

West USA includes nominees from the following states California, Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Montana, and Wyoming.
