Georgia Tech and Mobile Active Defense Announce Innovation Alliance for Mobile Security

ATLANTA, Sept. 27, 2010 — Mobile Application Development (M.A.D.) Partners, LLC, and Georgia Tech Information Security Center (GTISC) have just completed their industry alliance partnership on mobile security research and the company will serve on the GTISC Industry Advisory Board.

FutureMedia Fest is a convergence of industry leaders, academics, entrepreneurs and venture capitalist for an interactive mash-up of talent, ideas, trends and technology and part focus on mobile security. The summit coincides with the release of the 2010 GTISC Emerging Cyber Threats Report.
He will be joined by other security experts including Eric Barnhart (GT Research Institute), and FutureMedia Fest includes panelists such as Jon Giffin, (Assistant Professor School of Computer Science, Georgia Institute of Technology), Daniel Hoffman (Chief Mobile Security Evangelist, Juniper) and Sam Philips (Vice President, Corporate Security, Research in Motion).
