Invincea to Present at SINET Showcase 2010
Invincea, Inc., the innovator in application virtualization for threat protection, one of only 20 firms chosen to present from a field of more than 130

FAIRFAX, Va., October 25, 2010 – Invincea, Inc., the innovator in application virtualization for threat protection, today announced that they have been selected to present and exhibit at the Security Innovation Network™ (SINET) Showcase 2010 on October 27, 2010 in Washington, D.C. SINET is an organization that focuses on advancing Cyber Security innovation through public-private collaboration. Invincea Founder and Chief Scientist, Anup Ghosh, will join leading cyber security experts to demonstrate how the company’s flagship solution – Invincea™ Browser Protection – addresses the zero-day, web-borne malware threat from email, web and social media sites that enterprises face today. At this event, various members from the Federal government, private sector, system integration, research and venture capital communities will come together to share ideas on how to continue accelerating innovation in security technology, ensuring that America’s infrastructure and vital assets are protected.

Invincea was chosen from a field of more than 130 other emerging security companies after a rigorous judging process designed to find the most promising security solution providers. Invincea’s flagship technology, Invincea™ Browser Protection, offers a unique ability to protect enterprise networks against all types of web-borne threats by moving the web browser into a controlled virtual environment that automatically detects and terminates threats in real time, disposes the tainted environment, and then restarts a pristine one.

At the Showcase, the company will demonstrate how Invincea Browser Protection shields networks against zero-day attacks using virtualization with behavior-based detection, extends the power of other security infrastructure through cyber-forensic intelligence, ensures maximum PC uptime, reduces costs associated with desktop reconfiguration and recovery, and grants users unfettered access to the Internet without fear of compromise from malware.

“The quality of the responding companies to our Call for Presentations was exceptional, which made the selection of only twenty very challenging for the selection committee. We are confident that raising awareness of the 20 companies, including Invincea, will have a significant impact on the security strategies of the high-level audience at the SINET Showcase. Our goal is to help match ‘best of class’ companies with the security needs of the Federal civilian, defense and intelligence agencies and the commercial sector – and we believe that Invincea and the other chosen companies address a critical concern of this audience,” said Robert Rodriguez, chairman and founder of SINET.

“We are honored to be selected by SINET to present our technology to this important community,” said Anup Ghosh, founder and chief scientist of Invincea. “Being one of the few companies chosen, further validates the strength of our solution and the need for it across America’s private and public sectors. SINET serves a critical role in the public-private ecosystem in spotlighting innovation to jumpstart disruptive technology adoption in large enterprises.”
